We have kicked off yesterday with the first article in the category Articles>Hardware Testdrives with a modest review of the new Tascam DR-07 digital (sound) field recorder. It's my intention to publish one review each month, but i'm heavily depending on either hardware i have to buy anyway (professionally), or on the availability of equipment that is supplied to me for this purpose by manufacturers.

Hardware is tested in real production situations on documentary or music-video shoots. I am also personally involved in a few short film projects, which are all intended for release through film festivals. Manufacturers of film making hardware (that can be anything from a digital camera through a dolly or tracks system) are cordially invited to offer us a test item for a short period of time.
